Your guide will take you on a historical walk along marble streets lined with fantastic buildings, including the Fountain of Trajan, the Baths of Scholastica, the Library of Celsus, the Temple of Hadrian, Agora, Love House, Public Toilets, and the Grand Theater, where Saint Paul preached. The latter was built in the 3rd century BC and expanded by the Romans in the 1st century AD to hold up to 24,000 spectators.

After visiting Ephesus, we will stop at the Temple of Artemis. It was one of the largest temples of the 6th century BCE and is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Next, you will visit the House of the Virgin Mary, located on the Aladag Mountains about 5 miles from Ephesus. Legend has it that Mary lived there with St. John from 37 AD until 48 AD.
